Product Description

These used to be known as "funeral" vases as they were commonly used to hold the flowers given by guests at funerals. They also used to be easy to find. No longer. Very few know that they were called funeral vases, and finding them is something which seldom happens any longer.
This one is pressed glass. Formed in a mold, reheated and twisted to achieve the spiral. It is a beautiful vase with lovely straw marks and very few air bubbles. The height varies from approximately 11" to 11-1/2". The opening at the top is about 4" and the base is about 3-1/2" in diameter.
Condition: Perfect! No scratches, cracks, or chips. Please note that the glass is not cloudy - this effect seems to happen when combining old glass and neon lighting.... my apologies.
