Red or Ruby Lustre Tumbler - Engraved - Sold

This is a 'Ruby Flash' Carnival Glass cup. It is real carnival glass! This is the type of glass the name came from! This was a prize that someone won, at a carnival.... After it was won, the had it engraved. It was the fashion to give these little tokens to a beloved. I think that was a rather nice fashion, don't you?

Condition: There are a couple of little spots off of the ruby flash. They are apparent in the last photo. The bare spots show as clear glass, photographed looking 'out' through the inside of the cup. There are no chips or cracks in the glass, just a few flecks off of the 120 - 130 year old color coating.

Size: 3-3/4" in height x 2-7/8" across the diameter of the top. 1-7/8" across the diameter at the bottom.

Monogram: As near as I can make out it is, W.S.C.
