Mexican Sterling Earrings with Turquoise

A wonderful pair of signed Sterling Silver earrings from Mexico. One earring is marked "Mexico 925 TL-119." I have discovered that the artist who made these earrings (TL-119) had a habit of only marking one earring. I wish I knew more about this person.

These drop earrings are in excellent condition. The mosaic pattern of the turquoise, set into black onyx is also in excellent condition. These earrings were made after 1979.

Approximate size: Full length of the drop (from the top of the shepherd's hook) is 2-1/8". The silver pendant on each earring measures approximately 1-5/8" x 1". Total weight of the two earrings together is 12.0 grams.
