This French factory was established in approximately 1730 by Jacques Chambrette as "Luneville". The company went many years before any of the pieces produced were signed or stamped. Luneville is still in operation today, acquired in the late 1800's by Keller and Guerin.
In addition to the majolica that they produced, Keller & Guerin also seems to be very well known for their faience pottery, tin-glazes, and various other techniques. Suggesting that this was a factory whose owners were at the leading edge of the market, always trying something new....
