Heavy Crystal Ink Bottle, Vintage - Sold

A fairly large, vintage, pressed glass ink bottle. This one is more than heavy enough to double as a substantial paperweight. It measures just slightly less than 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" square and stands 2-5/8" in height, with the lid on. There is a cross-hatch pattern on the inside of the lid which I find to be a little unique. The outside (top) of the lid has straw marks in a circular pattern. Its pretty!

The lid is only very roughly finished around the 'seam' on the bottom edge of the inside. This has contributed to one slightly rough corner on the bottle and an overall rough (but not sharp) finish. This roughness does sort of appear as chips in the photograph - there are no chips or cracks in this ink bottle. There are lots of minute air bubbles in the crystal of this ink bottle. Overall, it is quite a nice piece.
