Cloisonne

Cloisonné is a multi-step enamel process which utilizes metal (copper, bronze, silver) filigree wire to partition or segregate the sections of the work. The process is labor intensive and requires both patience and skill. The cloisonne of China is possibly the most recognized of this type of enamel-work.
