Ching's Yellow Worm Lozenges.

Fine sugar 28 pounds, calmel, washed with spirits of wine, 1 pound, saffron 4 drams; dissolve gum tragacanth sufficient to make a paste, make decoction of the saffron in 1 pint of water, strain and mix with it. Each lozenge should contain 1 grain of mercury [poison, please do not use this].
