Chain Pier, Seaview, Isle of Wight - Unused, Vintage Sepia Postcard, 1936

Product Description

This is a beautiful, vintage, photographic postcard of the "Chain Pier" as seen from Seaview, Isle of Wight. There are people walking along the seawall. The year, according to the handwriting on the back of the card, is 1936... The people in the photo are dressed according to Western styles of the 1930s.
Condition: Excellent! The photo is sharp and the sepia tones are clear. The card has been subjected to a minimum of handling and the glossy paper is basically clean and has only a minimal amount of darkening showing on the back. This is an unused, plain back, photographic postcard by "Nigh" of Ventnor, I.W.
On the Front of the Card: "1403" and "Chain Pier, Seaview, Isle of Wight."
On the Back of the Card: "Real Photo Postcard by Nigh. Ventnor, I.W., Copyright" In pencil, "Went [t]heir Aug. 1936"
