Children's Corner, Gorleston on Sea, Norfolk - Hand Tinted Vintage Postcard, 1918

I've been asked why I put 'vintage' instead of 'antique' in the Titles of most of my postcards. I have decided to list antique items as those which are more than 100 years old.

This hand-tinted postcard of the beach at Gorleston-on-Sea is wonderful. The area was known as "Children's Corner" and I went to Google Earth because I was curious. This little piece of England sports so many wonderful venues for children! Use 'gorleston on sea, norfolk, england' in the search box there! The area is still beautiful but unfortunately, I couldn't find any sign of that wonderful massive building that takes up the center background of this photograph. ~long sigh.....

Condition: Poor to Fair. One corner is missing a good piece, the other corners are well-rounded. There is a crease at the center top. This is a used, divided back, real photo postcard with an absolutely wonderful hand-tinted, black-and-white, glossy photo.
