Antique, Natural Amber Brooch

There is one little dark spot in this amber which, to the naked eye, looks suspiciously like a little bug of some sort - it isn't. When exposed under my jeweler's loupe it transforms into one of many bits of seeds, nature's flotsam preserved forever....
Did you know that they have taken seeds out of amber and grown the plants? They have! It may be one of many ways that we can regain a little of what we have lost.
Condition: Excellent! Almost perfect! There is one slightly rough edge near the spring of the pin back. I really don't want to touch it. From the front and under the loop this little roughness appears to be the tiniest of bubbles and actually adds to the three-dimensional space that the contents of this tiny piece of amber reside in. The C-clasp, spring and pin are all in excellent condition!
Size: Approximately 1" x 7/8" x 3/8" at the widest/thickest points. Total weight, with the pin back is 3.8 grams.
